Produced by the award-winning London and LA-based studio The Ink Factory (The Pigeon Tunnel, The Little Drummer Girl), in association with Character 7, Demarest Films, and 127 Wall, and co-produced with Spain’s Nostromo Pictures, the new season promises to take the story beyond John le Carré’s original novel for the first time.

Created and executive produced by David Farr, The Night Manager series two is directed in full by BAFTA winner Georgi Banks-Davies (I Hate Suzie, Paper Girls). Stephen Garrett of Character 7 returns as lead executive producer, alongside an impressive team including Stephen and Simon Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff, Tessa Inkelaar (The Ink Factory), Joe Tsai, Arthur Wang (127 Wall), Adrián Guerra (Nostromo Pictures), Georgi Banks-Davies, Hugh Laurie, Tom Hiddleston, William D. Johnson (Demarest Films), Nick Cornwell (for John le Carré), Susanne Bier, Chris Rice (FIFTH SEASON), and Gaynor Holmes for the BBC.

Filmed across the UK, Spain, Colombia, and France, the new series will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, and on Prime Video in over 240 territories worldwide (excluding the UK), under a global distribution deal managed by FIFTH SEASON.

The first series of The Night Manager earned over 30 nominations and multiple BAFTA, Emmy, and Golden Globe wins — including Best Actor for Tom Hiddleston — making it one of the BBC’s most-watched dramas of 2016.
