The Celebrity Apprentice Christmas Specials trailer is here

The BBC has today unveiled the official trailer for The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials, giving fans their first glimpse of a star-studded festive showdown in aid of BBC Children in Need.

As Lord Sugar warns:

“It’s the first ever time on The Celebrity Apprentice that the public can buy products that were created by the celebrity candidates. It’s added some real pressure to the process. I think the celebs thought they were in for an easy ride, but they were wrong! Raising money for BBC Children in Need is serious business, so the candidates really need to deliver if they want to avoid ending up on my naughty list.”

This December, The Apprentice returns with two celebrity Christmas specials, bringing festive chaos, fierce competition, and plenty of laughs as famous faces step into the boardroom for charity.

A Festive Celebrity Line-Up

The celebrity contestants taking part include:
AJ Odudu, Angela Scanlon, Charlie Hedges, Eddie Kadi, Jake Wood, JB Gill, Kadeena Cox, Matt Morsia, Rob Rinder, Sarah Hadland, Shazia Mirza, and Tom Skinner.

They’ll face classic Apprentice-style challenges with a Christmas twist — under the watchful eyes of Baroness Karren Brady and Mike Soutar, who will be keeping tabs on every move in Lapland, Santa’s official home.

The Challenge: Bake, Brand & Sell for Children in Need

This year, the celebrities are tasked with developing their own festive gingerbread biscuits — from concept and design to branding, advertising, and sales.

Lord Sugar calls in a special seasonal advisor — Santa Claus himself — to help put the teams through their paces. Each group must create a biscuit brand, develop a jingle, shoot an advert, and pitch their product to top UK retailers.

But will they rise to the challenge — or crumble under the pressure?

Meet the Teams

Team One — AJ Odudu, Charlie Hedges, Eddie Kadi, Jake Wood, Kadeena Cox, and Rob Rinder — created the “Jolly McTrouble” biscuit: a bold gingerbread with butter toffee, vanilla, and Christmas pudding icing.
With the cheeky tagline “Be Naughty, Get Nice,” the biscuit celebrates Santa’s mischievous brother, Jolly McTrouble.

Team Two — Angela Scanlon, JB Gill, Matt Morsia, Sarah Hadland, Shazia Mirza, and Tom Skinner — went for something truly original: “Gary the Penguin”, a gingerbread penguin featuring lemon, bubble-gum, and white pepper flavours.
Their tagline? “A Cheeky Treat for Your Little Rebel.”

Where to Buy the Celebrity Biscuits from The Apprentice

From Friday 14 November, fans can purchase these limited-edition biscuits nationwide, with every sale raising funds for BBC Children in Need.

They’ll be available at:
Asda, Tesco, Boots, Debenhams, One Stop, Ocado Retail, Amazon Online, Amazon Fresh (London), Lola’s Cupcakes, Knoops, Haven Holidays, Wenzel’s The Bakers, and Greenhalgh’s bakeries.

Perfect as a festive stocking filler or a sweet treat while watching The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials on BBC One and iPlayer later this year.

Celebrities Visit Children in Need Project

As part of the special, the celebrity teams visited the BBC Children in Need-funded Chickenshed Theatre Trust, where they unveiled their adverts and shared their biscuits with the children — receiving plenty of honest feedback.

The Chickenshed Theatre Trust supports disabled children and young people with additional needs, helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and take part in inclusive creative activities — one of the many incredible projects funded by BBC Children in Need.
