Gorillaz to perform on The Graham Norton Show

Gorillaz will perform their new single on The Graham Norton Show, theversion.co.uk can reveal.

On Friday the 13th, just after the clock slips to 10.35pm, the lights dim inside Television Centre and a familiar, cartoon-tinted hush falls over the studio of The Graham Norton Show. The red sofa is warming up, the audience is buzzing—and then, nine long years since their last visit, Gorillaz step back into the TV spotlight.

It’s a rare thing: a full-blown TV performance from a band that usually prefers to keep its mischief global and its appearances selective. This time, though, they’ve chosen Graham’s stage to unleash Orange County, a shimmering new track that signals the start of a fresh chapter. Catch it live on BBC One, or stream it on BBC iPlayer if you’re watching from the shadows.

The performance lands as Gorillaz gear up for a new album era—building on the psychedelic, cult-packed world they opened up with Cracker Island—and as murmurs of live dates and festival runs grow louder. The band’s recent work has leaned hard into collaborative chaos and sharp social satire, and the upcoming tour promises to turn that energy into something huge, loud, and gloriously strange.

Before the music hits, the sofa itself is stacked. Stephen Graham drops by to talk about the darkly comic thriller The Good Boy. Kaley Cuoco, forever beloved from The Big Bang Theory, swaps laughs for mystery in her new series Vanished. And Adrian Lester, fresh from Olivier glory, takes the lead in a bold stage revival of Cyrano de Bergerac.

It’s one of those nights where everything lines up: big stories, bigger personalities, and a band that doesn’t show up on TV unless it really means something. Friday, 13 February. Sofa, spotlight, Gorillaz. Don’t blink.

Don’t miss Gorillaz on The Graham Norton Show, Friday 13 February, 10.35pm.
