Bullseye returns with a new series next week
Bullseye returns! One of Britain’s most beloved game shows is making a comeback, airing on ITV1 and ITVX at 8pm on Sunday 9 November.
Fronted by Freddie Flintoff, the show offers a lively mix of general knowledge and dart-throwing skill, with scorer Richard Ashdown and some of the world’s top darts professionals joining the action. The first episode features rising darts star Luke Littler.
Created by Potato, the award-winning ITV Studios label behind The Chase, the reboot sees three teams of two players go head-to-head — each pair made up of a darts player and a quiz partner. Contestants combine quick thinking with precise aim, throwing darts at a range of game boards while answering questions to earn points and prizes.
As the competition progresses, the field narrows to one final duo, who must decide whether to stake their winnings for the chance to claim a mystery grand prize, typically a luxury holiday or a brand-new car.
This classic family favourite remains one of the UK’s most popular and enduring game show formats, originally drawing audiences of up to 10 million viewers during its 1981–1995 run.
Following the huge success of the 2024 Christmas special — which attracted more than 8 million viewers — ITV has commissioned a full series for 2025. The new Bullseye will air weekly for four episodes, with another festive special to follow.
