The Beauty trailer released by Disney Plus

Disney+ has released the official trailer for FX’s new international thriller “The Beauty,” executive produced by Ryan Murphy. The series will debut in the UK on Disney+ on Thursday, January 22, with the first three episodes launching together. The 11-episode first season will continue with new episodes released every Thursday, concluding with two episodes per week in each of the final two weeks.

Set in the glamorous world of high fashion, “The Beauty” takes a dark turn when supermodels across the globe begin dying in brutal and unexplained circumstances. FBI Agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) are dispatched to Paris to investigate. Their search uncovers a sexually transmitted virus that turns ordinary people into unnaturally flawless physical beings — but with horrific side effects.

Their investigation soon places them in direct conflict with The Corporation, led by elusive tech billionaire (Ashton Kutcher), who has secretly developed the virus into a profitable miracle drug known as “The Beauty.” Determined to protect his trillion-dollar empire, he unleashes his deadly enforcer, “The Assassin” (Anthony Ramos). As the outbreak intensifies, Jeremy (Jeremy Pope), a struggling outsider, becomes entangled in the chaos while the agents race from Paris to Venice, Rome, and New York to stop a threat that could reshape humanity forever.

The series explores a central question: What price would you pay for perfection?

Guest appearances include Amelia Gray Hamlin, Ari Graynor, Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Billy Eichner, Isabella Rossellini, Jaquel Spivey, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, John Carroll Lynch, Julie Halston, Lux Pascal, Meghan Trainor, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Peter Gallagher, and Vincent D’Onofrio.
