ITV announces refreshed Saturday morning lineup for January 2026
ITV has unveiled an exciting new Saturday morning schedule for January 2026, featuring an extended edition of James Martin’s Saturday Morning — following a standout year in which the show achieved its highest viewing share since 2017.
Commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe and Leanne Clarke, the refreshed lineup builds on ITV’s continued weekend success. In 2025, the channel’s Saturday morning programming grew its share of viewing by 8%, and the new year promises to take that momentum even further with an expanded James Martin show, a brand-new series from Ainsley Harriott, and the return of Prue Leith to viewers’ screens.
Following the success of its first two series, Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen will return for a much-anticipated third series. Once again, Prue — joined by her husband John — will welcome audiences into their idyllic Cotswolds home, sharing her signature warmth, culinary flair, and irresistible recipes with a new lineup of guests.
Next, viewers can look forward to an extended edition of James Martin’s Saturday Morning, which will now air until midday. Spanning two and a half hours, the expanded format will showcase even more of James’s trademark charm, delicious dishes, celebrity guests, and lively kitchen chat — offering a perfect way to ease into the weekend.
Rounding off the morning, Ainsley Harriott returns with an all-new 30-minute series, Ainsley’s Taste of the Bahamas, taking viewers on a colourful culinary journey through the Caribbean, celebrating its vibrant flavours, food traditions, and culture.
Leanne Clarke, Assistant Commissioner, ITV Entertainment and Daytime, said:
“We are thrilled to bring this stellar lineup to our Saturday mornings. With the return of the much loved Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen and extended James Martin’s Saturday Morning, plus a new exciting series with Ainsley Harriott, we are confident that our viewers will have even more reason to wake up with ITV on Saturdays, enjoying a truly entertaining start to the weekend.”
