First look images released from Prime's Young Sherlock series
Prime Video has unveiled the first-look images for Young Sherlock, featuring Hero Fiennes Tiffin (After series) in the title role. Directed and executive produced by Guy Ritchie, the high-energy series traces the beginnings of Sherlock Holmes in a bold, action-packed mystery that follows the famed detective’s earliest adventures. Young Sherlock is set to debut exclusively on Prime Video next year across more than 240 countries and territories.

Infused with the wit and flair of Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films, the series reimagines the origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary detective with explosive style. Here, Sherlock is a disgraced, unpolished young man who becomes entangled in a murder case that jeopardizes his freedom. His first investigation uncovers a globe-spanning conspiracy that alters the course of his life. Set in 1870s Oxford and beyond, the story reveals the rebellious exploits of the teenage Holmes before he transforms into Baker Street’s most iconic resident.

The previously announced cast includes Dónal Finn (The Wheel of Time), Zine Tseng (3 Body Problem), Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale), Natascha McElhone (Halo), Max Irons (Condor), and Colin Firth (The King’s Speech). Guy Ritchie directs and executive produces the series, which is written and executive produced by showrunner Matthew Parkhill. Additional executive producers include Dhana Gilbert, Marc Resteghini, Simon Maxwell, Ivan Atkinson, Simon Kelton, and Colin Wilson, with Harriet Creelman and Steve Thompson serving as co-executive producers. Motive Pictures oversaw physical production for Young Sherlock.
