Emily and Farida to return to Big Brother

Big Brother today announces the two former Housemates who will re-enter the Big Brother house during tonight's live show.

Housemate Emily who was evicted on the launch night of the current series will step back inside the House and she won’t be alone...Emily is joined by the first evictee of ITV’s debut Big Brother series, Farida - giving two of Big Brother’s ‘gone too soon’ Housemates another shot at the original social experiment.

As previously announced, tonight’s eviction will in fact be a fake eviction and unbeknown to the Housemates, either Nancy or Sam will move into a secret room alongside Emily and Farida.

Voting for Friday’s fake eviction is open with viewers being asked to vote for the Housemate they wish to send to the secret room. Who goes into the secret room? You decide.

BIG BROTHER Q&A - FARIDA

Why do you want to go back into the BB House?

Firstly, I think it’s a fantastic choice. And secondly, the amount of time you put into the whole process, I didn’t really feel fulfilled - I only had a few days in there. The most important thing is – the audience has wanted this for such a long time. Even when Celebrity Big Brother was on there were rumours I was going back into the House. You’ve got to listen to your fans. I’m doing it for the fans.

Have you been watching much of this new series? What do you think so far?

I’ve caught up a little bit. I watched the launch and wasn’t that impressed with the cast. But then on day two, when the four extra Housemates went in, I thought ‘wow, yes.’ They aren’t the most exciting; there’s nobody that really shines for me. I was hoping Richard was going to be a lot different than he is. I feel like we need someone to go in there and get the better side of him out – that could be me.

Who do you think you’ll get on with?

It depends on how they receive me. Obviously, if they’re fans of Big Brother they might already know me and my character. Let’s see, and that will dictate how I react to them. My whole take might be a little bit different this time.

Anyone you think will be a hard nut to crack?

I think I might have problems with Caroline. But I don’t know why. She’s an older woman that’s desperate to win. I don’t like what’s gone on recently with Jenny – her being called fake. I’ve been on the back end of that in the past and it’s not nice. Especially when you’re stuck in a pressure cooker environment. That might impact how I challenge people in there.

Do you have a strategy?

No, I’m just going to be me.

How do you think the Housemates are going to react?

I think they might see me as a threat; as everybody does. Because I’m very confident, and I can’t help it. If I see something that’s not right, I will voice my opinion. I believe in justice.

Tune into Big Brother at 9pm TONIGHT on ITV2 and ITVX.
