ITV has unveiled a dramatic teaser trailer, offering viewers an explosive glimpse of the groundbreaking crossover soap episode, CORRIEDALE.
For the first time, it has been confirmed that a multi-vehicle pile-up lies at the heart of the drama, bringing the worlds of Coronation Street and Emmerdale together for one night only.
The atmospheric trailer captures the aftermath of the crash on a dark and stormy country road near the village of Hotten.

Desperate voices echo through the darkness as emergency services arrive. Fans of both soaps will recognise David Platt, Tracy Barlow, Liam Cavanagh, and Aaron Dingle. Corrie stars Jack P Shepherd and Kate Ford, along with Emmerdale’s Johnny McPherson, join Danny Miller and Vicky Myers among the confirmed cast for the one-hour episode.
But what has drawn the residents of Weatherfield across the Pennines to Yorkshire, and how have characters from the two soaps ended up in such a catastrophic collision?



The special episode, set to air in early January 2026, is a celebration of the soap genre and will kick off ITV’s new ‘soap power hour’ scheduling for Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
The promo also reveals the iconic CORRIEDALE logo for the very first time.
CORRIEDALE is only the beginning, as the aftermath of the crash unleashes fear, murderous intent, death, destruction, closely-guarded secrets, and lies.
