Siobhan Finneran, Hermione Norris and Ben Willbond Confirmed as Major Guest Stars in New Death in Paradise Series
The new series of Death in Paradise is set to make a big splash with the confirmation of an eye-catching line-up of guest stars, from shows including Happy Valley, Downton Abbey and Gavin and Stacey - led by Siobhan Finneran and Hermione Norris, two of the most recognisable faces on British television.
They will be joined across the series by an array of high-profile names including Ben Willbond, Sarah Hadland, Steffan Rhodri, Gary Wilmot, Tim McMullan and Julian Rhind-Tutt, promising one of the show’s most star-studded runs to date.
The guest roster continues with appearances from Ace Bhatti, Louis Davison, Scarlett Alice Johnson, Sean Delaney, Lizzie Davidson, Kojo Kamara, Layo-Christina Akinlude, Sandra James-Young, Phoebe Sparrow, Antonia Bernath and Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge, each set to play key roles in the island’s latest mysteries.
Alongside the headline-grabbing guest stars, the series follows DI Mervin Wilson, played by Don Gilet, as he continues to adapt to life on Saint Marie while tackling a fresh wave of baffling cases. His personal life takes an unexpected turn as he attempts to build a relationship with his newly discovered half-brother Solomon (Daniel Ward), only to find their differences create more tension than harmony.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Selwyn Patterson (Don Warrington) returns determined to rebuild trust after his recent absence, encouraged by some tough love from longtime friend Catherine Bordey (Elizabeth Bourgine).
With big-name guest stars, returning favourites and new faces shaking up the team, the upcoming series is already being billed as one of the most ambitious and headline-worthy chapters in the show’s history.
