A Knight of the Seven Kingdomstrailer released by Sky

Sky has unveiled the official trailer for its new original half-hour drama series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Returning audiences to the world of Westeros, the series offers a heartfelt story built around the adventures of an unlikely pairing. The six-episode season premieres Monday, 19 January on Sky and streaming service NOW, with new episodes released weekly.

Set a century before the events of Game of Thrones, the series follows two unexpected heroes roaming Westeros: Ser Duncan the Tall — young, idealistic, and brave — and his small but spirited squire, Egg. In a time when the Targaryens still rule from the Iron Throne and the age of dragons remains within living memory, the duo faces grand destinies, formidable enemies, and daring escapades that forge their remarkable bond.

The cast includes Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall, Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Danny Webb as Ser Arlan of Pennytree, Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen, Shaun Thomas as Raymun Fossoway, Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen, Edward Ashley as Ser Steffon Fossoway, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Henry Ashton as Daeron Targaryen, Youssef Kerkour as Steely Pate, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor as Plummer and Daniel Monks as Ser Manfred Dondarrion.
