Jennifer Garner to star in The Five Star Weekend, coming to Peacock and Sky

The Five Star Weekend will air exclusively in the UK and Ireland on Sky and streaming service NOW this July, while in the US it is set to premiere July 9 on Peacock.

Alongside Jennifer Garner, The Five Star Weekend stars D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Harlow Jane and Timothy Olyphant. Additional cast includes Rob Huebel, David Denman, Josh Hamilton, West Duchovny, Judy Greer, Tory Devon Smith, Morrison Keddie, and Roberta Colindrez.

The Five Star Weekend is centred on Hollis Shaw (Garner), a famed cook and best-selling author known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanour, who suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the tragedy begins to expose the cracks in Hollis’s picture-perfect life – from her strained marriage to her complicated relationship with her daughter, as well as her growing pursuit of validation from her fans.

In an effort to overcome her grief and rediscover herself, Hollis decides to host a weekend getaway at her Nantucket home, inviting three friends from different stages of her life – her childhood, her twenties, and her thirties – along with one surprise fifth guest. Set against a luxurious coastal backdrop, the gathering becomes a transformative experience as boundaries are tested and long-buried secrets come to light.

The Five Star Weekend is produced by Universal Content Productions, a division of Universal Studio Group, and was acquired for Sky by Lucy Criddle, Director of Acquisitions & Strategic Projects.

The Five Star Weekend will be available exclusively on Sky and NOW this July, and premieres July 9 in the US on Peacock.
