Set against the high-stakes world of British boxing, Fightland is a gripping story of redemption, betrayal and ruthless ambition, both inside and outside the ring. Featuring explosive fight sequences and a gritty criminal underworld where money and power collide, the series explores a side of British boxing rarely seen on screen. It also marks Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s first internationally produced television series through G-Unit Film & Television.

The story follows British-born boxer Duke Kilroy (Howard Charles), who reaches the pinnacle of the sport by becoming world heavyweight champion. But on the night of his greatest triumph, his brother Calvin is murdered in a brutal attack. Devastated by the loss, Duke’s actions in the aftermath land him in a U.S. prison for eight years.

After uncovering a chilling truth behind his brother’s death, Duke returns to London determined to exact revenge on the man he believes betrayed him: former promoter and criminal kingpin Kingsley Marshall (Nicholas Pinnock). However, Kingsley has disappeared, leaving behind his family, including his wife Joy (Deborah Ayorinde), who also happens to be the love of Duke’s life.

To draw Kingsley out of hiding, Duke partners with a powerful cartel intent on taking control of London’s drug trade. As he infiltrates Kingsley’s criminal empire from within, Duke is forced to navigate a dangerous world of violence, shifting loyalties and deadly rivals. To survive and avenge his brother, he must rely on the same relentless determination that made him a world champion.

Alongside Howard Charles, Nicholas Pinnock and Deborah Ayorinde, the cast includes Anita-Joy Uwajeh as Cebella “Cece” Marshall, Charles Babalola as Ezekiel “Zeek” Marshall, Tahirah Sharif as Kim Harper, Tyler Conti as Justin “Jay” Hall and Richard Pepple as Gary “Gazzer” Kilroy.

Fightland is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film & Television alongside Francis Hopkinson and Kate Leadbetter of Expanded Media. The series is created by Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith, who also serve as executive producers and writers. Damione Macedon and Raphael Jackson Jr. act as showrunners, executive producers and writers, while Otto Bathurst directs and executive produces the opening two episodes.

The series was acquired for Sky by Facundo Bailez, Head of Acquisitions, and Rachel McCartney, Acquisitions Manager, as part of Sky’s ongoing partnership with STARZ.
