Annabel Croft has left Strictly Come Dancing

In the latest episode of Strictly Come Dancing, the remaining couples gave their all on the Ballroom floor, hoping to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Head Judge Shirley Ballas, as well as the voting public. The stakes were high as the contestants aimed to secure a spot in the Grand Final of Strictly Come Dancing 2023.

During the weekend, contestant Annabel Croft faced Bobby Brazier in the dreaded dance-off, resulting in her elimination as the tenth contestant on Strictly Come Dancing. Both couples reprised their favorite routines, with Bobby and Dianne performing their Quickstep to “Mack the Knife” by Bobby Darin, and Annabel and Johannes presenting their Viennese Waltz to “Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want” by Slow Moving Millie.

Following the couples’ second performances, the judges delivered their verdicts. Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Annabel and Johannes, commending their exquisite technique. Motsi Mabuse, after a tough decision, opted to save Bobby and Dianne due to a slight hesitation in Annabel and Johannes’s routine. Anton Du Beke also saved Bobby and Dianne, acknowledging the closeness of the competition and a minor flaw in Annabel and Johannes’s performance.

With two votes for Bobby and Dianne and one for Annabel and Johannes, Head Judge Shirley Ballas had the casting vote and chose to save Bobby and Dianne. Despite the extraordinary performances from both couples, a tiny mistake in Annabel and Johannes’s routine influenced the final decision.

Annabel graciously expressed her gratitude, calling the experience life-changing and extraordinary. She praised Johannes for being patient, caring, and loving, describing him as an unbelievably special human being.
