Who is in the new Peaky Blinders series?

The BBC has unveiled a host of new cast members for the next chapter of Peaky Blinders, which is currently filming at Digbeth Loc. Studios and other locations across Birmingham.
Produced by Banijay UK labels Kudos (SAS Rogue Heroes, House of Guinness) and Garrison Drama (Peaky Blinders series 1–6, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man), the new series will air on the BBC in the UK and on Netflix internationally.
Set a decade after the end of World War Two, the drama follows Birmingham as it attempts to rebuild in the aftermath of conflict. Against a backdrop of ambition, power struggles and opportunity, Duke Shelby (Jamie Bell) and Charles Shelby (Charlie Heaton) find themselves navigating a city transformed.
At the centre of the action are Duke Shelby’s Peaky Blinders gang, featuring Eliot (Samuel Bottomley), Angelo (Arturo Muselli), Frank (Eugene Collins) and Kezia Lee (Lucie Shorthouse). Returning favourites Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee will once again play Charlie Strong and Johnny Dogs, reprising their roles from both the original series and Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.
Among the newly announced additions is Game of Thrones star Conleth Hill, who takes on the role of Clemmy Keeler, the formidable head of the rival Keeler crime family. Joining him are Cal O’Driscoll as his son, Aidan Keeler, and Daniel Monks as Detective Inspector Bell.
They join previously announced cast members Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch and Lucy Karczewski, although details of their characters remain under wraps.
Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight returns as writer, with Mike Barker and Anna Zackrisson directing the new episodes. Tim Whitby serves as producer.
The production is supported by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and marks the first commission under a new partnership between the BBC, WMCA and Create Central, aimed at increasing television production investment across the West Midlands.
Since its debut on the BBC in 2013, Peaky Blinders has grown into a worldwide success story, earning critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase, as well as numerous awards, including the BAFTA for Best Drama Series in 2018.
The two new six-part series will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, while international audiences will be able to watch on Netflix.
