Apple TV announces new SciFi thriller Liminal Starring Vanessa Kirby and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Apple TV has tonight announced new Sci-Fi Thriller Liminal starring Vanessa Kirby and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Apple Original Films has officially revealed its latest major project, Liminal — a new sci-fi action thriller starring Vanessa Kirby and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

The upcoming film will be produced by Apple Studios and directed by Louis Leterrier, known for his work on Fast X and the hit series Lupin. With a strong creative team and high-profile cast attached, Liminal is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Apple TV+ movies in development.

What Is Liminal About?

Liminal is based on the AWA graphic novel Telepaths, created by Eisner Award winner J. Michael Straczynski, alongside Steve Epting and Brian Reber.

The story blends science fiction with action and thriller elements, focusing on extraordinary abilities and the psychological tension that comes with them. The screenplay has been adapted by Justin Rhodes, whose previous credits include Terminator: Dark Fate.
