TV Tonight: Formula E and Formula One on Channel 4

What to watch tonight: Channel 4 has coverage of the London Formula E competition, plus the F1 Belgium from this evening.

At 4.30pm, it’s live coverage of the London Formula E race. As the grid heads to London for the final two rounds of Season 9, British driver Jake Dennis has extended his lead at the top. And he'll be gunning to take the championship in front of a home crowd. He's in a great position, taking a 24-point lead into Round 15 over New Zealand's Nick Cassidy. And he led from start to finish in Rome. But he still needs to make good around the ExCel track, in London's docklands. The stats are on his side - home drivers have won four of the eight races held in the UK. The track is unique, with inside and outside sections, enabled by Formula E's lack of emissions. Which means that the drivers face the challenge of variable light conditions and changes to the racing surface. Never a dull moment.

Later, from 7.45pm - 9.15pm, F1 coverage. The latest stop on the Formula 1 World Championship is the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, which will host sprint weekend number three. Lee McKenzie, Mark Webber, Billy Monger, Jamie Chadwick and Ariana Bravo present all the action from Qualifying, the Sprint shootout and the Sprint race itself, at this historic track.
