Big Zuu’s 12 Dishes in 12 Hours visits Amsterdam, tonight at 10.20pm on ITV1.

People dream of seeing the world, but TV chef Big Zuu is here to eat it - forget museums and tourist trains as the heart and soul of any place is best served on a plate according to Zuu, so he's taking viewers and an array of celebrity guests on a food pilgrimage across Europe to uncover the 12 dishes that define each city.

The latest episode sees Zuu joined by double Bafta-winning actor Anna Maxwell Martin in Amsterdam, a city with a reputation where anything goes. But Zuu and Anna aren’t here for the coffee shops and red lights, they’re here for the city’s best kept secret, the food. From haring and carrot clogs to falafel and fufu - this multicultural metropolis is full of delicious surprises.

Their culinary journey starts with some local classics, before Zuu takes Anna to a Michelin-starred restaurant putting the Netherlands on the world food map with a modern take on traditional Dutch dishes.

After discovering there’s a lot more to Dutch cuisine than pancakes, a trip to the World of Food sees them sample some Caribbean Johnny Cakes, and a Fufu and Light soup gives Zuu a taste of home.

Along the way, Anna reveals a musical past, her undying love for cake, before belting out a tune in a singing bar with some locals..
