La Couronne – 1995. It’s late at night and a card game is taking place on the terrace. Patrick is up against Sonny Montario – a local gangster with a dangerous reputation. As the pressure builds, Patrick folds.

With the game dwindling down, only Sonny and the captivating Gabriella remain. Gabriella places a bet—an old piece of paper hinting at potential riches for the entire village. However, Sonny’s enthusiasm turns to anger when he discovers it’s merely a poem. In a rage he grabs Gabriella and pushes her, but she falls to the floor hitting her head. Sonny runs away, vowing to Patrick that he’ll be back to claim his winnings.

Thirty years on, Patrick confides in Jean and Dom that he was responsible for identifying Sonny in a police lineup. Sonny was sentenced for 30 years, and Patrick knows he is threatening to come back to Sainte Victoire.

Amid the unfolding mystery, Dom’s health becomes a concern as his doctor persistently calls him. Attempting to discuss his worries with Jean proves challenging as she is engrossed in solving her latest mystery. The conversation takes a backseat when Jean stumbles upon a surprising revelation about her past.

Undeterred, Jean and Dom press on with their treasure hunt. Sonny returns, raising questions that demand answers. As Jean races against time to unravel the mystery and keep Patrick safe, the lingering question remains—can she solve the riddle before Sonny enacts his revenge?
