Best TV Tonight: The Wheel of Fortune

Brand new for 2024, The Wheel of Fortune returns to ITV1 and ITVX tonight at 6pm.

Hosted by BAFTA award winner Graham Norton and produced by Whisper North, a part of the Sony Pictures Television-backed Whisper Group, the show will consist of an 8-episode run, including two celebrity specials.

The captivating game show revolves around a colossal carnival wheel, where contestants spin their way to a life-changing cash prize. Each turn of the wheel determines a cash value, followed by the contestants selecting a letter to unravel the puzzle. Correctly revealed letters contribute multiples of the cash amount, but the stakes are high, as the wheel contains potential pitfalls such as ‘bankrupts’ and ‘lose a turn,’ posing a risk of wiping out the contestants’ entire winnings.

Beyond cash prizes, participants have the opportunity to win impressive prizes that are added to their cash pot, aiding them in reaching the bonus round. While everything is up for grabs, only one fortunate contestant will have the chance to significantly boost their cash pot and vie for taking it all home.

Graham Norton hosts The Wheel of Fortune
