In the final episode of the series, Mary welcomes Will Kirk, star of The Repair Shop and skilled antique furniture restorer, to join her for an outdoor cooking session. Will, who has recently moved into a new home with his first-ever garden, is eager to embrace alfresco cooking and seeks Mary’s advice on hosting the perfect, stress-free barbecue.

Mary rises to the challenge, creating an array of delectable dishes, including spiced roasted cashews, poker chips, chargrilled halloumi salad, miso sesame trout, sriracha chicken wings, a party cheesecake topped with mango and passionfruit salsa, and a refreshing honeydew fruit salad.

A devoted fan of The Repair Shop, Mary is thrilled when Will presents her with a handmade, personalized gift. Between cooking, they relax in the sunshine, sharing stories of Will’s childhood food memories. Before he leaves, Mary is determined to learn a few of his woodworking skills. After a walk in the woods, Will finds the perfect project to teach her.
