Special shows from Greg James, Dean McCullough and Ali Plumb this year.
BBC Radio 1 has revealed its 2024 Christmas schedules.
On Christmas Eve, fans can wake up with I’m A Celeb star Dean McCullough who covers for Greg James on Radio 1 Breakfast.
He’s followed by Lauren Layfield, who covers for Rickie, Melvin and Charlie from 10am.
Sam and Dani are on from 2pm and then Jack Saunders hosts Radio 1’s New Music: Best of 2024. There’s a special show at 10pm, a live recording of the BBC Proms starring Florence and the Machine.
On Christmas Day, Sam and Dani are live with a huge show from 7am through until 11am. Then Greg James introduces Christmas Anthems between 11am – 1pm.
It’s Radio 1 Anthems all the way from 1pm, with shows hosted by Vick and Katie, Jamie Laing and Charlie Hedges.
At 7pm, film critic Ali Plumb looks back over a year of movies.
Happy Anthems airs 8pm – 10pm.
On New Years Eve, listeners can enjoy some huge dance anthems with special shows from James Cusack, Connor Coates and Charlie Hedges. A day of Anthems follows on New Year’s Day.
