The Flatshare starts tonight at 9pm on 5.
Starring Jonah Hauer-King, Jessica Brown Findlay and Anthony Welsh, The Flatshare is a unique take on the classic will-they/won’t-they romcom, following two cash-strapped Londoners who share a bed without ever meeting. Tiffany and Leon’s unconventional arrangement hinges on one catch—they plan to never cross paths, even though they’ll be living in the same space.
Tiffany, recently dumped by her controlling ex, spends her days working a minimum-wage job at a clickbait website, while Leon works night shifts in a hospice, seeking life advice from a terminally ill teenager, all while trying to raise money to free his wrongly imprisoned brother. Their lives couldn’t be more different, but as the Post-its fly and they start to get drawn into each other's messy, complicated worlds, an unexpected attraction begins to grow. The question remains: can you really fall in love with someone you’ve never even met?
In the opening episode, Tiffany (Jessica Brown Findlay) is reeling from a breakup and struggling to make ends meet when she signs up for a flatshare with a twist. Leon (Anthony Welsh), who works nights in a hospice, and Tiffany, who works days, will share a bed without ever meeting face-to-face. As Leon works to raise funds for his wrongfully jailed brother Richie, Tiffany’s work performance begins to slip following her breakup, putting her job at risk. With their personal lives in turmoil, both become increasingly intrigued by the mysterious stranger they’re living with, and soon, the Post-its start flying…
The series originally aired on Paramount Plus.
