Thousands of you have voted Neighbours the world’s best soap in the 2023 Where to Watch Awards with Humax.
The Australian drama has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity since relaunching on Amazon owned channel Freevee this year, and the show beat stiff competition from the likes of EastEnders and Coronation Street to win our award.
Ahead of its relaunch, Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD original content and programming, Amazon Studios said “Neighbours has captivated its audience for nearly 40 years, building a dedicated and loyal following for the lives and stories of the characters on Ramsay Street”.

The latest installment of the enduring series, which chronicles the lives, romances, and trials of the inhabitants of Ramsay Street in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough, Australia, resumed its narrative two years after the gripping 2022 finale, captivating millions of devoted viewers. Viewers can currently binge-watch previous seasons of Neighbours, including over 100 iconic episodes, on Amazon Freevee. Moreover, the free streaming service offers two series-themed FAST Channels – "Neighbours – Looking Back" and "Best of Neighbours."
The fresh series boasts an ensemble cast featuring Alan Fletcher, Annie Jones, Candice Leask, Emerald Chan, Georgie Stone, Hannah Monson, Jackie Woodburne, Lloyd Will, Lucinda Armstrong Hall, Lucinda Cowden, Majella Davis, Marley Williams, Matt Wilson, Naomi Rukavina, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Riley Bryant, Ryan Moloney, Sara West, Shiv Palekar, Stefan Dennis, Takaya Honda, Tim Kano, and Xavier Molyneux as regulars. Guest stars include April Rose Pengilly, Costa D’Angelo, Georgia Walters, Guy Pearce, Ian Smith, Jessica Muschamp, Jodi Gordon, Melissa Bell, Mischa Barton, Nathan Borg, Viva Bianca, and Trevor the Dog.
Having run for over three decades, Neighbours has amassed a global fan base and served as a launching pad for the careers of renowned personalities like Margot Robbie, Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce, and Russell Crowe. Fremantle is the producer of Neighbours, with Jason Herbison continuing as the executive producer, a role he has held since 2013, alongside the return of Andrew Thompson as the producer for the exciting new chapter.
Neighbours made its return to screens in mid-September, unveiling fresh episodes every Monday to Thursday at 7 a.m. BST on Amazon Freevee in the UK and the U.S. The series is available for streaming on Prime Video in Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Australia's Network 10 will maintain first-run rights for the new series chapter in the country.
