Who is performing on Jools' Annual Hootenanny this year?

In the UK's traditional New Year's celebration on television, Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are set to headline once again in Jools' Annual Hootenanny. You can watch it at 11.30pm this New Year’s Eve on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

To welcome 2024, Jools promises an exceptional musical lineup featuring a mix of established stars and emerging talent, along with special guests. Making his Hootenanny debut is rock and pop legend Rod Stewart, joining forces with Joss Stone, Olivia Dean, Paul Jones, PP Arnold, Raye, Sugababes, and The Mary Wallopers.

The evening will also showcase performances from Boogie Woogie Queen and powerful vocalist Ruby Turner, while the Pipes & Drums of the 1st Battalion Scot Guards set the tone as midnight approaches. Jools will engage with comedians, actors, and other 2023 stars in the audience, discussing their predictions and resolutions for the upcoming year.

Jools' Annual Hootenanny marks the conclusion of another remarkable year for Jools, having hosted two additional series of Later…with Jools Holland, featuring diverse performances from artists such as Bombay Bicycle Club, Gabriels, Hozier, Jessie Ware, Johnny Marr, Jorja Smith, Róisín Murphy, Royal Blood, Sharleen Spiteri, Take That, The National, The Streets, and many more.
