When is Jade Thirlwall performing on Later with Jools Holland?

Jade Thirlwall will perform on Later with Jools Holland this Saturday, 19 October at 9.50pm, as the show makes its return with a brand new series on BBC Two and iPlayer.

Jools welcomes to the show South Shields singer Jade Thirlwall, who makes her debut as a solo artist on TV with performances of her breakout solo track Angel of My Dreams and her upcoming single Fantasy. Jade rose to fame as a member of the globally successful girl group Little Mix, formed on The X Factor in 2011. The group achieved multiple chart-topping hits, including Shout Out to My Ex, Black Magic, and Woman Like Me. Over a decade with Little Mix, Jade contributed to their six studio albums, numerous awards, and sold-out world tours, helping them become one of the best-selling girl groups in history. Now venturing into her solo career, Jade’s debut marks an exciting new chapter in her musical journey, blending her pop roots with fresh, contemporary sounds.

Also on the show, Stockport band Blossoms perform two songs from their latest album Gary; saxophonist, composer, and bandleader Nubya Garcia delivers a performance of Triumphance from her album Odyssey; folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling shares a couple of tracks from her album Patterns in Repeat; and Dublin-based five-piece Gurriers make their debut with a song from their album Come and See.

In addition, Jools sits down at the piano with legendary Queen drummer Roger Taylor to celebrate 50 years of the band’s iconic 1973 debut album, which has been remixed, remastered, and expanded into a special collector’s edition titled Queen I. Jools and Roger also perform a classic John Lennon track to round off the celebration.
