TV Tonight: Double The Money

Double The Money continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

Sue Perkins presents the brand-new reality competition where pairs of contestants are challenged to double their money using their entrepreneurial abilities and doing anything they can think of. Starting with £250, the stakes get higher until one team ultimately wins a life-changing £20,000. Every penny the teams make, they keep.

But they can never use the same money-making idea twice, and anyone who brings back less than double the money is eliminated. It's round two and the remaining teams have three days to turn £500 into £1000. As the clock starts, a battle of the lemonade brews: as one team try to pedal their homemade recipe, another upsell supermarket pop. But will the weather sour both the lemonade teams' chances? Elsewhere, one duo charge £60 a head for a supper club event, another opt for a rowdy bingo night, and a rival team attempt to throw a high-end party in an upmarket nightclub. When the clock stops, the teams return to The Vault. Who's managed to double their money and kept their place in the competition?
