OJ Borg is latest celebrity linked to Strictly 2023

icymiofficial.com Is the BBC Radio 2 presenter about to take to the dancefloor?

OJ Borg is the latest name linked with this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Leicester-born OJ, 44, cut his teeth on hospital radio and now presents BBC Radio 2’s overnight show. He regularly fills in for other presenters on the station, including Rylan Clark, and held the fort in the afternoons before Scott Mills took over as the regular host following Steve Wright’s departure.

OJ is a lover of sports and hosts his own cycling podcast, called BBC BeSpoke. Available on BBC Sounds, OJ delivers all the latest news from the cycling world and discusses issues and news from the sport.

In ManchesteOJ is no stranger to TV, having regularly presented the National Lottery LIVE and Euromillions draws on BBC One. He’s also covered Le Mans 24 hour racing for ITV4, UFC fighting for BT Sport, and taken part in Celebrity Mastermind.

A source told icymi, “OJ will be one to watch on the Strictly dance floor. If it’s true he’s taking part, the other contestants had better up their game because he’s not only competitive and sporting, but he’s also so likeable and will go down a storm”.

Other names associated with this year’s Strictly include Radio 1 DJ Katie Thistleton and ex-Cricketer Stuart Broad.

The brand new season kicks off this September on BBC One.
