Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer head to Cowbridge in Wales, where physiotherapist Amy and vineyard manager Louis need help with a home that, on the surface, looks picture perfect; it's big, beautiful and in a picturesque location. But a long list of gripes, including an incredibly dysfunctional layout, has made Amy long for pastures new.

They inherited the property from Louis' late grandmother, it holds a special place in his heart and he's not ready to give up on it just yet. Amy and Louis have spent five years trying to make it work, but as Louis has recently been diagnosed with MS, Amy wants them to move to a home where they can spend more time relaxing, rather than carrying out endless DIY on this huge barn conversion. Despite his potentially life-changing diagnosis, Louis believes Kirstie can come up with a plan to turn it into a forever family home. It's an emotional roller coaster as Kirstie's plan leaves them open-mouthed while Phil wows them with an incredible array of ready-to-move-into properties.
