Radio 2 confirms Kylie Minogue special
News: Kylie Minogue fans can hear her in conversation with Scott Mills in a special edition of his Radio 2 afternoon show this week.
From 2pm on Wednesday, Scott will be getting ready for Radio 2 in the Park in Leicester with special guest, Kylie.
Scott's been catching-up with Radio 2 in the Park's Sunday headliner, Kylie Minogue for a special interview. She's been making music for five decades, and is one of the biggest names in pop.
Scott's been telling the story of Kylie and her career in a new podcast, charting her success from the early days in Neighbours right through to her recent comeback with Padam Padam and Tension.
Plus, there's another Birthday Game. The birthday wheel has picked three former number ones from today's date, but spin past the first two and someone's stuck with the final track.
Radio 2 will bring two days of incredible live music from some of the world’s most-loved pop stars to Victoria Park in Leicester on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September, as revealed this morning on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show

This will be Radio 2’s biggest ever live music event outside London and the stellar line-up exclusively features Tears for Fears headlining the Saturday night with their only UK festival appearance this year, and Kylie Minogue headlining the Sunday night with her first live UK full concert performance for four years. And, for the first time, there will be a Radio 2 DJ stage where some of the station’s favourite presenters will be playing some of the best music in the world from the past seven decades.
