Take That’s Greatest Days film is coming to Prime Video

Entertainment News: Greatest Days will be available to stream on Prime Video from 25 August.

The Take That film is the feel-good and universal story of love and friendship featuring the hit songs of Take That and adapted from the smash stage show by the writer of Calendar Girls. We follow five best friends who have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert. Twenty-five years later their lives have changed in many different ways as they reunite for one more epic show by their beloved band, to relight their friendship and discover that maybe their greatest days are ahead of them.

The film was released in cinemas on 15 June 2023 and received positive reviews from critics. It enjoys a quick-to-stream release via the platform, which is available to subscribers of Amazon Prime.

Bandmembers Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen released a statement about the film in 2020, saying: "Greatest Days is a film dedicated to all those who have supported us throughout the years. It puts a mirror on our audience – it's a celebration of our music but it's literally all about the fans and their friendships.

"Our fans have been on a 30-year journey with us and we have an incredibly strong bond with them, so seeing that they will be represented on screen by such a strong, talented cast is incredibly exciting."

The film is based on the hit musical of the same name.
