Sky Sports confirms first 2023/24 Premier League Matches

Entertainment News: Four huge Premier League matches will air on Sky Sports in the opening weekend of the 2023/24 season.

Sky Sports will head into the first weekend of the Premier League with four huge matches to really get the season rolling. Two success stories from last season clash as Newcastle United host Aston Villa at St James’ Park in the Saturday evening game. Then on Super Sunday, two London sides with similar standings at the end of the 2022/23 season kick off their season as Brentford entertain Spurs at the Gtech Community Stadium, and then we’re heading to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea, licking their wounds from a humbling finish at the lower half of the table last season, take on a Liverpool side hoping to regain their reputation as a contender for Manchester City’s championship reign. Finally, it’s time for the first Monday Night Football of the season, as Manchester United – third place runners up last season – taken on the never to be underestimated Wolves at old Trafford.
