Richie Anderson to host new Strictly spinoff show
News: Richie Anderson is to host a new Strictly spin off show on BBC Radio 2.
The presenter will front a new weekly playlist show on the station, airing Saturdays from 12.20pm from 23 September, coinciding with the new series launch. In previous years, the programme has formed part of the morning show and has been hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
This year, Claudia is taking a break from her morning programme, which will be covered by Emma Willis.
In the special Strictly Playlist programme, Richie will look ahead to that evening’s episode, playing out all the songs that will feature in the competition that week.
He’ll also be sharing behind-the-scenes gossip and checking in with stars from the show.
