Married at First Sight 2023 cast announced

News: The cast for this year’s Married At First Sight UK has been announced and the show has cast its first ever transgender contestant.

The E4 dating show has unveiled the lineup for this year's series, and producers have made history with the inclusion of 29-year-old clinic consultant Ella.

She said: "This experiment is so much more than just me getting married. I see this as a big deal for someone who has transitioned."

Ella will join other brides all looking to be matched with their perfect partner in the search for love.

She has been described as a "blonde bombshell with a sense of humour and heart of gold".

She lives with her nan - the closest person to her - and insisted they are "the dynamic duo everyone needs in their life".

The upcoming season's 36 episode run will the the largest to date, as well as the longest-ever stretch on Channel 4.

Coaches Melanie Schilling, Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas are back to guide the cast through their weekly dinner parties.

Reality TV fans will recognise Nathaniel from 'Geordie Shore: Hot Single Summer' in 2021, and the events marketing manager will be one of the grooms for the series.

He teased: "I don’t trust anyone but myself, but I hope they’ve done a good job that’s all I can say."

Also joining the cast alongside Ella and Nathaniel are Polish tennis coach Arthur, model Brad, sports rehabilitator Georges, sales executive Luke and events marketing manager Nathaniel.

The men's lineup is rounded off by footballer, boxer and gym-lover Paul, youth worker, DJ and father-of-three Terence and investment communications workers Thomas.

On the bride's side, Ella is joined by sales manager Jay, finance manager Laura, technology risk partner Peggy, executive assistant Porscha, florist Rosaline, performing arts teacher Shona and childcare assistant Tasha.
