Indiana Jones and the Dial Of Destiny gets October Disney+ release

In the fifth installment of the series, Indiana Jones finds himself in a new era, approaching retirement. Grieving from the death of his son, we find Indy struggling to fit into a world that seems to have outgrown him. When an old rival rears its ugly head, Indy must don his hat and pick up his whip once more to make sure an ancient and powerful artifact doesn't fall into the wrong hands.

Ford is joined by a rich cast, including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Olivier Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is directed by James Mangold, with Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel producing. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serve as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, is once again composing the score.

The film closely follows Disney’s other recent big screen release, The Little Mermaid which arrives on Disney+ this September.

Pixar’s Elemental is set to join the platform in November.
