Brassic Season 5 to air in September

theversion.co Season 5 of Sky Max comedy Brassic is coming to Sky MAX next month.

Roll out the red carpet – or whatever colour carpet fell out the back of that van. Fresh from being crowned Best Comedy Drama at the Royal Television Society Awards 2023, Sky’s smash hit comedy Brassic returns for a fun filled fifth season. Vinnie and his crew of scallys are still in deep trouble with local criminal heavyweights the MacDonagh brothers, and this time even their sister is getting involved. In the fifth eight-episode series, you can look forward to more hair-thinning escapades including a catastrophic encounter with a World War II landmine, a surprise visitor from Germany looking for Tommo, an episode with a colossal bunny named Albert, and an art heist involving L.S. Lowry’s more… raunchy works. Plus, there’s a new addition to the Brassic family, and we find out what exactly happened to Dylan.

If you can’t wait that long, Season’s 1-4 are available to stream on demand via Sky TV or with a NOW Entertainment Membership. In season 4, Vinnie (Gilgun) tracks down Erin (Keegan), who fled Hawley at the end of the last series to escape dangerous criminal Terence McCann. Among the scenes pictured are those of the gang causing mayhem at a murder mystery night, where Steve Pemberton (Inside Number 9, Doctor Who) makes a cameo appearance alongside the fancy dress-clad cast.
