Court Martial: Soldiers Behind Bars announced by Channel 5

icymiofficial.com: Channel 5 will offer viewers a unique look inside the Military Corrective Training Centre for a new documentary series.

As reported by Broaadcast, it will be the first time camera crews have been allowed inside the facility in 30 years.

The documentary will follow soldiers who have been convicted of serious crimes, as they serve their sentences and undertake rehabilitation exercises.

Emma Read and David Emerson will serve as executive producers for the three part series.

Read said: “Emporium Productions has extensive experience filming within the world’s toughest prisons but this is one of the most fascinating places we have ever worked in, and we are delighted to have collaborated with the British Army to deliver this hard-hitting documentary series.”

Viewers will get to know the Military Provost Staff who are there to guard the criminals and put them through a strict regime, with the hope that some of them can return to duty.

The series will air later this year.
