Liam Payne and One Direction tracks return to UK Charts
Liam Payne is set to make a return to the UK charts this weekend, following his tragic death on Wednesday evening.
A number of Liam’s tracks, as well as One Direction songs, are already in the live iTunes chart and he’s set to feature in the Official Big Top 40 chart on Capital and Heart this Sunday.
Leading the way is Liam’s song Teardrops, which at the time of writing is sitting at No.7. His other solo tracks For You and Strip That Down have also re-entered the iTunes chart.
Elsewhere, is One Direction’s History, Story Of My Life, What Makes You Beautiful and Night Changes.
Liam’s most succesful solo single was ‘Strip That Down’, which featured American rapper Quavo. The song charted at No.3 in the official UK chart in 2017 and was also a success in Australia, Ireland, Belgium, New Zealand, Germany, France and Sweden.
In total, it sold more than 11.5million copies around the world and was his first song to reach one billion streams on Spotify.
