Leo Woodall’s next role revealed

Leo Woodall is to star in a new conspiracy called Prime Target, for Apple TV+.

The series will comprise of eight one-hour episodes. The show, led by SAG Award winner Leo Woodall (“The White Lotus,” “One Day”) and Quintessa Swindell (“Black Adam,” “In Treatment”), delves into a world of intrigue and danger. Created by acclaimed writer Steve Thompson (“Sherlock,” “Vienna Blood”), who also serves as an executive producer, “Prime Target” is a collaboration between Apple TV+, New Regency, and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free.

Director Brady Hood (“Top Boy,” “Great Expectations”) helms all eight episodes of the series and joins as an executive producer. The ensemble cast features renowned talents such as Academy Award nominee Stephen Rea (“The Crying Game”), BAFTA Award nominee David Morrissey (“Sherwood,” “The Walking Dead”), and Emmy Award winner Martha Plimpton (“The Regime”).

Set against the backdrop of mathematical intrigue, “Prime Target” follows Edward Brooks, portrayed by Woodall, a brilliant young post-graduate on the brink of a groundbreaking discovery regarding prime numbers. As he inches closer to unraveling a global mystery, he crosses paths with NSA agent Taylah Sanders, played by Swindell, who is assigned to monitor mathematicians’ activities. Together, they uncover a complex conspiracy threatening Edward’s breakthrough.

Executive producers from New Regency include Ed Rubin, Beth Pattinson, Emma Broughton, Yariv Milchan, Arnon Milchan, and Michael Schaefer. Marina Brackenbury joins as executive producer for Scott Free alongside David W. Zucker and Ridley Scott. Laura Hastings-Smith serves as series producer and executive producer.

Leo Woodall is currently starring in the critically acclaimed Netflix series One Day and has previously appeared in Sky’s White Lotus.
