Isle of Wight Festival 2025 Lineup Announced: Sting, Stereophonics, and Justin Timberlake to Headline

The Isle of Wight Festival 2025 is shaping up to be one for the ages, with a star-studded lineup already announced. Taking the Main Stage by storm on Friday night is none other than musical legend Sting, in what’s being hailed as a major coup for the festival. As part of his “STING 3.0" World Tour, the iconic artist will showcase a fresh era of his music, blending his timeless hits with a dynamic, stripped-back three-piece band. Fans can expect classics like Roxanne, Message In A Bottle, and Englishman In New York, alongside his latest release I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart), mixed by four-time Grammy-winning engineer Robert Orton.

Sting will be joined onstage by longtime collaborator Dominic Miller on guitar and Chris Maas, best known for his work with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers, on drums. The performance promises to be a highlight of the festival, as Sting swaps his Fields of Gold for the fields of Seaclose Park.

Saturday Brings the Return of Stereophonics

Welsh rockers Stereophonics will take over the Main Stage on Saturday night, marking their first appearance at the festival in three years. As one of the UK’s most enduring rock bands, with eight of their twelve studio albums hitting number one, fans can expect anthems like Dakota, Maybe Tomorrow, and Have a Nice Day, plus new tracks from a forthcoming album set for release in 2025.

Justin Timberlake to Close the Festival

Sunday night will see American pop royalty Justin Timberlake closing the Main Stage with a show that’s bound to leave fans buzzing. From his NSYNC days to his successful solo career, Timberlake has become one of the most celebrated entertainers in the world, with hits such as Sexy Back, Rock Your Body, and Mirrors. With more than 117 million records sold worldwide, this set is sure to be one of the most memorable performances of the weekend.

Additional Performances Announced

The first wave of announcements doesn't stop there. Faithless will bring their iconic electronic sound to the Main Stage, closing Friday night with their mix of house, trip-hop, and euphoric dance tunes. Irish rock band The Script are also joining the 2025 bill, performing hits like The Man Who Can’t Be Moved and Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, rising star Teddy Swims will make his festival debut following a stellar breakout year in 2024, where his single Lose Control became a global hit.

On Friday night, Clean Bandit will take over the Big Top stage with their chart-topping dance-pop hits like Rather Be and Rockabye, while Saturday night will feature the high-energy beats of Example, known for tracks like Changed the Way You Kiss Me. James, the legendary British band, will close the Big Top on Sunday night with their iconic hits Sit Down and Laid.

More to Come

Fans are also in for a treat with sets from Scottish rockers Texas, pop sensation Olly Murs, and singer-songwriter Dean Lewis, known for hits Be Alright and Waves. The ever-innovative Alison Moyet, indie favourites The Lathums and Lottery Winners, and legendary singer Paul Heaton (with a guest appearance from Rianne Downey) are also on the bill.

Celebrate 25 Years of Isle of Wight Festival at The O2

Ahead of the festival, fans can dive into the history of the Isle of Wight Festival at Experience 25, a special exhibition at The O2 in London. Running until 13th November, the exhibit celebrates the festival’s 25 editions, from its origins in 1968 to its modern-day revivals, showcasing photos, videos, memorabilia, and unique art installations.
