Greatest Hits Radio LIVE 2024 is coming to Manchester and here’s how you can get tickets…

Greatest Hits Radio Live 2024 will take place at Manchester’s CO-OP Live Arena on Sunday 24 November, with tickets going on sale this Wednesday at 9am via Ticketmaster! CO-OP members can already get tickets, via the pre-sale.

Hosted by Ken Bruce and featuring other big names from the station, plus an iconic list of performers, this year’s event has been supersized, having previously been hosted at the London Palladium.

Artists will cover the breadth of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s in fitting with the station’s playlist.

Ken Bruce said: ‘I’m delighted to be taking Greatest Hits Radio Live on the road as we bring the good times to the magnificent Co-op Live in Manchester. I’ve had a sneak peek at the line-up and I’m looking forward to sharing more soon!”

The lineup for Greatest Hits Radio Live 2023 was nothing short of spectacular, featuring legendary artists and bands who have made significant contributions to the music industry. Among the headliners were:

  • Simply Red, who delivered a powerful set including timeless hits like "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now," captivating the audience with Mick Hucknall's soulful voice.

  • Bananarama, whose high-energy performance of pop classics such as "Cruel Summer" and "Venus" had the crowd dancing and singing along.

  • Tony Hadley, the former Spandau Ballet frontman, who brought a touch of elegance to the evening with his renditions of "True" and "Gold."

  • Belinda Carlisle, who charmed the audience with her distinctive voice and hits like "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" and "Circle in the Sand."

  • Midge Ure, delivering powerful performances of Ultravox favorites like "Vienna" and "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes."

  • Heather Small, whose soulful rendition of M People hits "Moving On Up" and "Proud" resonated deeply with the audience.

The event was hosted by Greatest Hits Radio's popular presenters, who kept the energy high between sets and shared interesting anecdotes and trivia about the performing artists and their songs.

One of the highlights of the night was a special tribute segment dedicated to Tina Turner, honoring her incredible career and influence on the music industry. A medley of her greatest hits was performed by various artists, bringing a heartfelt moment to the evening.
