Ticket applications open for season 2 of Gladiators

Free ticket applications have opened for the second season of BBC One's smash-hit gameshow, Gladiators.

Fans can now apply to go and see the show being filmed at Sheffield Arena in August, with each audience member being allowed to request up to six tickets.

Friday 2 August

Monday 5 August

Thursday 8 August

Wednesday 14 August

The hotly anticipated show gripped the nation and quickly became the biggest entertainment launch for a new series in seven years with 28 day figures showing that 9.8m viewers watched the first episode, with the series averaging 8.3 million viewers to date.

The hugely successful first series hosted by Bradley and Barney Walsh saw 16 new superhuman Gladiators: Sabre, Legend, Nitro, Diamond, Phantom, Athena, Bionic, Fire, Giant, Dynamite, Viper, Electro, Apollo, Comet, Steel and Fury quickly become household names as viewers cheered on their favourites as they competed against Contenders in iconic events such as Duel and Powerball, culminating in the iconic Eliminator.

Bradley and Barney Walsh will return to host the show which will air in the Autumn.
