Commencing from the 2025/26 season, the exclusive live coverage on Sky will witness a remarkable 70% increase, featuring up to 100 additional matches each season.

With the allocation of four packages, the maximum for any single broadcaster, Sky Sports will host over 80% of live Premier League matches. Viewers can anticipate a minimum of four live games every week, creating an unrivaled experience for football enthusiasts.

The comprehensive lineup of Premier League football on Sky Sports includes:

  • A minimum of 215 live games per season
  • All first pick matches, ensuring fans access the best matchups week after week until May 2029
  • Super Sunday maintaining its flagship kick-off slot at 4.30 pm
  • Premier position in coverage, with the first and last word on a Premier League weekend, featuring more live games on Fridays and Mondays
  • All final games on the last day of the season broadcast live in one place, creating a significant moment for fans
  • An innovative addition, Sky Sports will now offer multiple live matches on various weekends at Sunday 2 pm
  • Coverage of most festive season fixtures, with Boxing Day Premier League football returning to Sky

Dana Strong, Group CEO of Sky, expressed enthusiasm about the outcome, emphasizing the substantial benefits for Sky customers, who will witness a notable increase in matches from the renowned Premier League. Sky’s extensive sports offerings, including Formula 1, cricket, golf, rugby league, tennis, and more, solidify its position as the ultimate destination for sports fans in the UK.

As more viewers engage with Sky Sports across all platforms, 2023 is poised to become the network’s strongest viewing year yet. The Premier League, along with other major sporting events, has set new viewing records, driven by the growing audience, particularly among younger viewers and women.

In addition to the Premier League, Sky Sports, available to non-Sky subscribers through a NOW Sports Monthly membership, boasts an impressive array of top-quality sports content, including Formula 1, English Football League, cricket, international cricket, Scottish Professional Football League, women’s football, golf, tennis, rugby league, and various other sporting events until the end of the decade.
