Ronan Keating has announced he is leaving Magic Breakfast at the end of July.
Ronan has co-hosted the popular breakfast show alongside Harriet Scott for the last seven years. He told listeners this morning:
“It’s been very difficult to come to this decision. I have loved every single minute and this has not been an easy decision at all.
“It was an honour to be in people’s homes, but I’ve missed doing the school run and waking up with my wife in the morning!”
His last show will be on 31st July, but Ronan won’t leave the station altogether. He’ll still host ad-hoc shows in the future, including a new weekend show throughout August.
Harriet will be joined by a new-cost from the Summer. Magic is owned by Bauer, the same company behind Absolute Radio, Scala, Hits Radio and Greatest Hits Radio.
