Alex Kay-Jelski, Director of BBC Sport, says: “These huge figures demonstrate that the BBC is the place audiences turn to for the big moments. We offer something unique across multiple BBC Sport platforms, and it’s a privilege to bring these incredible sporting moments to fans, even if the result doesn’t always go the way you want. All roads now lead to Paris for the second half of the BBC’s summer of sport.”
Since both tournaments began, audiences have been keeping up to date across multiple BBC platforms including TV and iPlayer, BBC Sounds, and the Sport website.
