Love Island USA is the most watched streaming original show in America.
Incredibly, the most recent episode in season six of the American version of the ITV2 reality show has been watched almost one hundred million times, 61% more than the number watching the week before. It’s seen Love Island USA outperform shows like The Bear and The Boys. The staggering figures were confirmed this morning by voiceover man Iain Stirling, who also narrates the UK version.
He posted:

Love Island USA Producer Simon Thomas recently spoke to Rolling Stone about the show’s success, saying “We want people to be sex-positive, we want them to have fun. The judgment is, can you do that without hurting someone else? We’re not asking, will they fall in love? We’re seeing, will they hurt each other once they’ve hooked up? And I think that’s been the test that they keep running into this year in a way that I’ve never seen.”
According to NBCUniversal, streaming numbers for this season of Love Island USA have doubled compared to previous seasons. Fans enjoy the show on streaming service Peacock, which is also home to series like Tattooist of Alchzwich, The Traitors USA and Ted.
