The brand new trailer for Joker: Folie À Deux will be available to watch below, from 2pm (UK time) and 6am (PT time) today.
The sequel to Joker will be released globally in cinemas on in cinemas October 4.
The sequel to Joker (2019), loosely inspired by DC Comics characters, features Joaquin Phoenix returning as the Joker. Lady Gaga joins the cast as his love interest, Harley Quinn. Zazie Beetz reprises her role from the original film, while Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener are new additions to the cast.
After killing Murray Franklin live on television, Arthur Fleck is confined to Arkham State Hospital, where he encounters Harleen Quinzel. The pair fall deeply in love and embark on a journey of musical madness fueled by their shared delusions. Meanwhile, Fleck’s followers initiate a movement to liberate him from Arkham, eventually leading to the rise of the Clown Prince of Crime’s criminal empire.
Joker: Folie à Deux will have its world premiere at the main competition of the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 2024.
The film premiered In Competition at the 77th Cannes Film Festival and will be distributed by Studio Canal.
