Jane McDonald joins BBC Radio 2 this Christmas

wheretowatch.tv Jane McDonald is joining BBC Radio 2 to present a very special programme to be broadcast on Christmas Day.

Making her radio presenter debut, the station promise two hours of festive fun with national sweetheart, Jane McDonald, who will be playing classic seasonal hits for all the family, sharing funny memories and heartwarming stories of Christmases gone by and giving the odd bit of advice on preparing sprouts. This is a show for every member of the family.

Expect to hear Christmas classics old and new from the likes of Mariah Carey, Wham!, Shakin’ Stevens, Elton John, Michael Bublé and many more as you sip on a sherry and munch on another mince pie before dinner.

You’ll be able to hear Jane 12.00 – 2.00pm on Christmas Day, or on demand via the BBC Sounds app. Other highlights on Radio 2 this Christmas include a special Sounds of the 70’s with guest Noddy Holder and a special programme remembering Sir Michael Parkinson.
