Jamie Dornan and Sam Ryder confirmed for Radio 2 Breakfast

Jamie Dornan and Sam Ryder will join Zoe Ball on another Friends Round Friday this Friday 22 December, on BBC Radio 2.

Rounding off a year of huge guests, Zoe will also be joined by comedian and TV presenter Lee Mack.

Jamie will be in the studio to discuss the second series of The Tourist, the most watched TV drama of 2022.

The highly anticipated second series of The Tourist will launch on the BBC on New Year’s Day. All episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer from 6am on Monday 1 January, with episode one airing on BBC One at 9pm. The Tourist series two will see the return of BAFTA and Golden Globe award nominated Jamie Dornan (Belfast, The Fall) and Danielle Macdonald (Unbelievable, Dumplin’). The six-part thriller is created and written by Jack and Harry Williams and produced by the award-winning Two Brothers Pictures.

Set against the striking backdrop of Ireland, Elliot and Helen are confronted by friends and foes. As they attempt to uncover the secrets of Elliot’s past, they are soon dragged into a longstanding family feud where they face the dangerous consequences of his past actions.

Sam Ryder will be in the studio to talk about and perform his brand new Christmas single, which is leading the race for this year’s Christmas No.1. “You’re Christmas To Me” was released last month via Amazon and has proved to be a huge hit with fans. “Imagine blasting through the sky on a runaway sleigh with a skin full of mulled wine next to the big red guy… That’s my Christmas song.”

Lee Mack will be on the show to talk about his Christmas special of The 1% Club. The popular gameshow will make its Christmas Day debut this year on ITV1 and ITVX.
