Epic US drama The Terror has arrived on ITV’s streaming platform ITVX today.
Inspired by true events, the series is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin’s ill-fated expedition to the Arctic. It chronicles the Royal Navy’s perilous journey into uncharted territory as the crew attempts to find the Northwest Passage. Confronted with treacherous conditions, scarce resources, waning hope, and the fear of the unknown, the crew is pushed to the brink of extinction.
Frozen, isolated, and stranded at the edge of the world, “The Terror” showcases the dire consequences when a group of men, desperate to survive, battle not only the harsh elements but also each other.
